Rybakina won titles in Brisbane, Abu Dhabi and Stuttgart in the first half of 2024, but then missed several tournaments due to illness and injury. The Kazakh lost her first two matches at the current WTA Finals in Riyadh.
In the same interview, Ivanisevic gave his opinion on the rivalry between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner. “They are different players, but when they are both at their best, I feel that Sinner is better. He was more consistent throughout the fight, whether Alcaraz could make incredible shots or make some easy mistakes,” he said.
