He Elche announced this Wednesday that fans will hold a mosaic including flag of the Valencian Community and that the hymn autonomous community in the run-up to the fight against Almeriaamong other activities, in tribute to the victims and those affected by the damage suffered by the province of Valencia last week.
The Elche club, very sensitized from the first moment with those affected by natural calamities, it has also organized for this fight under the campaign ‘Let’s fill Martínez Valero with unity’, initiatives such as the collection of products and food, solidarity tickets, row 0 and total cooperation with the authorities.
As explained by the Elche entity, the stands of Desire A mosaic with the colors of the flag of the Valencian Community will be displayed when the players take to the field of play.
As the football players leave, and at the same time as the mosaic is displayed, the loudspeaker will sound Community Song instead of Aromas Ilicitanos, a popular habanera that has accompanied preludes to matches for over a decade.
With these two initiatives, Elche wants, as explained in a public note, to be “cwith all the symbols of our land and improve what binds us together.”
Before the start of the meeting, Elche will also recognize the work of entities, associations and individuals who have collaborated with many act of unity with the victims of the flood, such as the Federation of Peñas, the Grada de Animación Fondo Sur 1923, the Conciénciate ya association Adelardo Gonzálvez, the trailer driver who brought all the material to the affected areas, representing all volunteers.
