The new image recovers the original logo and is very similar to the current logo. Menno Geelen, CEO of the Dutch club, explained on the club’s website that the recovery of the old logo “is an aspiration of the majority of our fans and we believe that the 125th anniversary is the best opportunity to recover it. Furthermore,” he added , “The history has shown us that our best moments are always when we are closest to our values and our DNA.”
This Sunday, during the clash against the legends of real MadridAjax will make the return of the logo official, which will be implemented starting next season in all areas of the entity.
