The Dutch Fem Van Empel put on a great solo demonstration from start to finish on a sandy circuit to win the first round of the cyclocross World Cup held in Antwerp (Belgium).
Van Empel (Hertogenbosch, 22 years old) has no rival on the first date of World Cupshowing superiority that allowed him to cross the finish line 31 seconds ahead of his compatriot Lucinda brand.
