The Slovenian Tadej Pogacar (UAE), triple winner of the Tour de France and world champion, once again climbed to the top of the podium in the fourth edition of Criterium Baking of Monacowhich was held in the Monegasque city where the rain was in the middle.
Pogacar shared the exhibition test podium with Dane Mads Pedersen and Australian Michael Matthews, second and third respectively.
“Beking is a fantastic event and every year I’m happy to participate. Even if the weather is not perfect, the race is fun. I’m especially happy that I won it because we don’t race in Monaco very often. It’s always a special experience,” rainbow jersey said.
