CBF’s revelation that Vinicius has roots in a tribe in Cameroon called Tikar has generated a lot of excitement in the African country. The Real Madrid footballer underwent a DNA test which confirmed that some of his ancestors came from somewhere in Cameroon.
One of the most famous people in Cameroon, heavyweight mixed arts fighter Francis Ngannou, reacted to the news by welcoming Vinicius to his new country with a message on his Instagram account where he was wearing t African team shirt with footballer’s number and name.
“I have my Vinicius Junior jersey for the Cameroon national team ready. Brother Vini, we are impatiently waiting for you at home,” wrote Ngannou, one of the most important fighters today and a great football fan. Vini himself replied with two emoticons.
