Rafa Nadal put down his racket last week in Malaga. The Spaniard retired from tennis after a long and successful career in which he starred in iconic moments in tennis history.
Some of them are with Roger Federer, his most special rival, and with whom he has shared Louis Vuitton’s ‘A legendary journey to the top’ campaign.
“I am very proud to be part of it, and more especially to share it with Roger, who was my great rival and now a great friend. Throughout my career, I have achieved more than I thought possible, so in the end the most important value is the legacy we leave behind as people,” Nadal explained.
For his part, the Swiss emphasized that “working on this campaign with Rafa is a unique opportunity. The fact that we were the biggest rivals and now, at the end of our careers, we are standing next to each other is very gratifying.. Being on the mountain top of the Dolomites symbolizes everything. “This is something very important and special for us.”
