The Barcelona Tennis Foundation has helped more than 400 minors at risk of exclusion

More than 430 minors at risk of social exclusion, in fourteen different neighborhoods of the city of Barcelona and the metropolitan area, have benefited from the initiatives of the Barcelona Tennis Foundation, born five years ago, in 2019. Celebrated its anniversary coincides with the 125 of its promoter, RCT Barcelona-1899.

On a mission to improve the physical and emotional health of these boys and girls in vulnerable situations through tennis training.

In March 2021, emerging from the pandemic, the Foundation launched the Solidarity School through the “Tennis with Values” program, which offers weekly tennis and values ​​classes to men, women and youth at social risk exclusion in their own neighborhoods.

Currently, the school has a second program, in joint work with the Rafa Nadal Foundation: “Play All – we all play”, with classes to promote inclusion and personal development.

The Foundation is a Charity Partner of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell-Trofeo Conde de Godó, where the La Raqueta Solidaria campaign was launched.

As a recent innovation, the scholarship program, aid for studies related to sports. The Catalan Tennis Federation is committed to ensuring that the children who receive this scholarship have professional opportunities in Catalan clubs.
