In Aflenz Kurort, behind almost every newly renovated facade in the city center is the billionaire currently making headlines due to the bankruptcy of KTM: Stefan Pierer. In the city of Upper Styria, 70 new apartments have been built in the past ten years. The houses in the first row have been “perfectly” renovated, says Mayor Hubert Lenger (ÖVP) during a joint walk, behind them new residential units and underground parking garages were built.
