Nine people were arrested for making offensive songs in connection with the tragedy of Hillsborough during the Premier League match between Liverpool and Manchester City on Sunday (2-0 for the Reds, leaders of the English championship).
Merseyside Police confirmed that the detainees were aged between 19 and 57 and were arrested at the Anfield stadium on Sunday. One of them, 28, was also arrested on suspicion of assault.
