Charles Leclerc surprised his followers by presenting his helmet for this weekend’s Abu Dhabi GP, the last race of the season, and therefore, his last race with the one who has been his teammate for the last 4 years.
For this reason, despite the friction they had on the track in previous seasons due to the equality between both teammates, the Monegasque wanted to pay tribute to his teammate in his last race at Ferrari by wearing a helmet in honor of Carlos.
“Thank you very much, Carlos,” read large on the top of the helmet, with chili, which is the nickname by which the Spanish pilot is known, and the colors of the Spanish flag.
Good gesture from Charles Leclerc who next year will have Lewis Hamilton by his side, a driver with whom we have to see if he is able to have a good relationship like Carlos regardless of the friction they may have on the track.
