When will the Formula One and MotoGP competitions return?

Date:

With the last checkered flag of 2024 being shown in the two major motorsport competitions, fans will have to be patient before the activity officially resumes again. On November 17, the curtain came down on the MotoGP campaign at the Barcelona Catalunya circuit, with Cheste taking the baton together after the tragedy caused by DANA. This Sunday F-1 scored the last point in Abu Dhabi.

And the luckiest are the fans of MotoGP as the 2025 campaign will start earlier than ever in the history of the competition. It will be from February 28 to March 2 in Buriram with the Thai GP where the second of the two MotoGP preseason tests scheduled for February will already be held. And 15 days later (March 14 to 16) the event in Argentina will come to Termas de Río Hondo if they finally solve the financial problems that this year forced the cancellation of the test.

The Qatar GP which has been opening the championship since 2007, except in 2023 when it gave the status to Portimao because its Lusail circuit was undergoing renovation, is transferring the privilege again this time for religious reasons since the start of Ramadan in Qatar on th -1 of March.
