Jon Rahm recovered number 2 in a ranking led by Scheffler

American Scottie Scheffler, this weekend at Travelers, continues to top the world golf rankings, where Jon Rahm recovered the number 2 at the expense of Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland, who finished nineteenth in the American circuit tournament.

Scheffler tops the list with an average of 10.9027 and wide margins over Rahm (7.7717) and McIlroy (7.7639).

The exchange of positions between Australian Cameron Smith (now sixth) and American Patrick Cantlay (seventh) is the other change that appears this week in the top-10 of the world ranking.

The American Xander Schauffele, winner of the Travelers Championship, rose from fifteenth to eleventh placewhile Chinese Li Haotong, winner of the Munich tournament on the European circuit, jumped 147 places, from 281 to 134.

Chilean Joaquín Niemann -eighteenth- and Mexican Abraham Ancer -twenty-twenty- are the best ranked Latin America players.
