In a very close match between two promotion rivals, Real Oviedo secured a crucial victory (2-0) against Granada thanks to late goals from Santiago Colombatto and Daniel Paraschiv.
While Javi Calleja replaced Seoane with the introduction of Sibo and, due to Alemao’s injury, Real Oviedo changed the tactical drawing and began to play with a single striker and with Hassan on the wing and Oier Luengo as right back, chose Fran Escribá is the same eleven that Granada beat Racing with last week.
The match was on from the start and, although Real Oviedo still threatened and collected corner kicks, Granada was the first to get clear and a pass from Rubén Sánchez into space surprised the blue defence, controlled by Tsitaishvili and Aarón Escandell was brave enough to deny him the goal.
The script remained the same in the minutes that passed, where both teams did not give anything to their rival and missed a certain pass in the last third of the field that would be translated into a chance: a header from Dani Calvo at the hands of Luca Zidane was the most dangerous in a stretch marked by four yellow cards – two for each team – shown by Palencia Caballero.
The second half started in a similar way to how the first ended, but seven minutes after the start Colombatto made one of the mistakes of the season in the Second Division: Hongla failed to get the ball from Granada, Colombatto stole, dribbled at Luca. Zidane and when he got everything to score, he didn’t understand that he passed the ball to Viñas who was already celebrating the Argentine’s goal.
Moments of changes in the match, with Javi Calleja with Portillo, Paraschiv, Paulino and Sebas Moyano and with Fran Escriba betting on Sergio Ruiz and Jozwiak; Minutes later, Real Oviedo’s goal was disallowed for offside by Portillo, who pushed Paulino’s header into the net.
Within four minutes, Real Oviedo won the match and the first came in the 81st minute, when Sebas Moyano was brought down by Luca Zidane in the area after Insua’s mistake and Colombatto scored 1-0 penalty; Four minutes later, Paraschiv took advantage of a pass from Costas behind the Granada defense to make it 2-0.
Second consecutive victory for Real Oviedo for the first time in the season and fourth place for the blues, who returned to the playoff positions, won again at Tartiere and, coincidentally, took advantage of the individual scoring of goals with the other candidate for everything in the final of course.
