Liverpool has published one of the most emotional Christmas videos of these holidays in which the protagonist is a nine-year-old boy named Isaac who suffers from Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome, a rare disease that affects in one in every 50,000 children.
Liverpool learned about this boy’s story through his family and wanted to surprise him with Mohamed Salah and Virgil Van Dijk, two of his idols. The Egyptian and the Dutch went to their school and invited Isaac and his parents to spend a day at the facilities of the Red club, where the boy had the opportunity to meet all the Liverpool players and Arne Slot, the coach.
The icing on the cake was when Isaac accompanied Van Dijk in the match against Manchester City that took place at Anfield a few weeks ago during the traditional exit from the locker room, when the players left hand in hand with some children.
