He BWT Alpine Formula One Team announced the signing of Franco Colapinto. The Argentine joined the team as test and reserve pilot ahead of the 2025 F1 World Championship, which starts next March in Australia.
Colapinto came to Alpine afterwards spent one season with Williams Racing. The English team, however, reached an agreement with the French team for the transfer of the Argentine has signed a “multi-year” contract, as Alpine explained in its statement.

In fact, he emphasizes that the Argentine’s appearance on the F1 grid last year “surprised many, including me,” adding that “His performances are very good for a rookie driver”.
Now the Italian said they “set their sights on our future and his signing (that of Colapinto) means that we have a great group of young drivers to use and with whom to work to develop the team for future success“.
