They say that the little details are what mark the people and this Saturday Carlos Alcaraz showed a good example of this in Australian Open, first Grand Slam of the season where the tennis player from El Palmar debuts on Monday.
In the photos that went viral, the disciple of Juan Carlos Ferrero walked through one of the corridors connecting to the track where he would be training, smiling at the security personnel and a detail holding the door for a cleaning employee coming up behind him so he could go through first.
A gesture applauded by social networks with comments such as “always classy, humble and respectful” or “an incredible tennis player, but a better person. It is a blessing for tennis to have a player like him.”
