Jamaica dominated the maximum speed tests, the 60 meter dash, with Kishane Thompson and Tia Clayton, winning in separate times of 6.56 and 7.18 to edge out Omani Ali Anwar Al Balushi and Portuguese Lorene Bazolo.
The Puerto Rican Luis Castro achieved the height with a discreet mark of 2.15 meters, the Slovenian Neja Filipic won the triple with 14.05, in the 60 hurdles the victory went to the American Dylan Beard (7.58) and the Japanese Yumi Tanaka (8.05) and the length went to Lester Lescay in his first competition as a Spaniard (7.91).
