The 2022 Italian Super Cup, which they will play AC Milan and InterLeague and Cup champions, respectively, will play in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, returned to live outside the Italian borders after two years.
The announcement was made this Friday via a statement from League Series Aas the thirty -fifth edition of a competition already played outside Italy on ten other occasions.
So, after two editions held in Italy, the Super Cup returned to Arabia for the third time. The first time it played in that country was in 2018, in Gedda, with Juventus Turin’s victory over Milan (1-0).
Riyadh is already hosting the competition, at Mrsool Park in 2019, with Lazio’s victory over Juventus Turin (3-1).
The Italian Super Cup has begun 1993 to be played outside the Italian borders, of which Washington (United States) was the first exit. Later it was played in Tripoli (Libya), New Jersey, Beijing, Sanghai and Doha
