Tiger Woods was happy on Tuesday at the expense of those who did not fall on the calendar date: April Fool’s Day, or what the same, innocent day in the United States. Golf’s myth, recently operating on the left breakage of the Achilles tendon, told his social networks that he will play the August Masters next week.
“I couldn’t believe I was saying this, but a few weeks after the left Achilles left, sleeping on a hyperbaric camera with the amazing -amazing care of my doctors and coaches I was willing to play masters next week!” Woods wrote to his X. “I can’t wait! I see you all on the farm.”
The surprise lasted a bit. Just three minutes later, Tiger himself remembered in the same account what day it was: “Post: April Fools, my Achilles is still a catastrophe :),” he wrote.
Woods, 49, was run on March 11 with a left rest of the Achilles tendon. The last official contest he played was a failed cut in Open USA 2024 in July. The 15 -time majors champion also played at TGL events this season.
Woods have been suffering for health problems for a long time. In September he underwent his sixth operation on the back and continued to deal with the effects of a car accident in 2021.
