The Seville began a long journey this Thursday for the early preseason, which will be conducted by the team coached by Julen Lopetegui in South Korea. The Nervionense expedition departs from San Pablo airport and has more than 16 hours of travel ahead of it with several stops. Sevilla has completed the Sevilla-Madrid, Madrid-Dubai and Dubai-Seoul routes, from where it will travel to Suwon, where it will conduct the first part of the preseason.
While Monchi is still waiting to close the signing of Brazilian Marcao, who could be the first reinforcement for the 22-23 season, Loptegui’s team will remain in Asian lands until July 17, playing a day before, on Saturday 16, the first friendship against English Tottenham.
Lopetegui will have 32 players in South Korea, including homegrown players, though 8 of them will join later, next week.
The expedition consists of Montiel, Rekik, Ocampos, Suso, Joan Jordán, Tecatito, Rakitic, Rafa Mir, Jesús Navas, Lamela, Acuña, Óliver Torres, Papu Gómez and Fernando, as well as homegrown players Herzig, Alberto Flores, Juanlu, Nacho Quintana, Pedro Ortiz, Pablo Pérez, Kike Salas, José Ángel, Luismi Cruz and Iván Romero,
Dmitrovic, Gudelj, Munir, Bono, En-Nesyri, Augustinsson, Delaney and Koundé have a few more days off.
