Mkhitaryan placed Mourinho’s fifth Roma

On purpose of Henrikh Mkhitaryan gave Roma victory on Sunday against Sampdoria (0-1) allowing José Mourinho’s team toplace in the European zone, 5th, with 2 points more than Lazio, 6th and 3 more than Atalanta, 7th after their defeat against Napoli a few hours earlier (1-3). Rome failed to elevate their advantage, capture the secondary goal that gave them peace of mind. And by the end of the match, Samp started to wake up, scoring through Fabio Quagliarella, but Chris Smalling stopped it.

Sampdoria slightly pressed, but didn’t really bother Rui Patricio, goalkeeper of Mourinho’s team, and Roma how to defend themselves in an orderly fashion so that this golden victory didn’t escape them, allowing them to rise to fifth seat and proceed to their successive meeting invincible, which is 10 already.

Now on Thursday Mourinho’s Roma await a visit to Bodo/Glimt to play the first leg of the Conference League quarterfinals on Norwegian soil.
