Majorcan tennis player Rafael Nadal and his team from Academy of Manacor finished in first position, tied to Illetas Spa and Gran Folies Beach Clubon the fourth trial of Qromia Hexagonal Golf Circuit Scratch celebrated this Sunday in the field of Arabella Golf Son Muntaner (Palma).
Nadal, along with his uncle and former FC Barcelona player, Miguel Angel Nadal, Peter Mason Y Jorge Alborch, delivered a card with 96 hits in a competition in which 26 teams participated. In Scratch mode, whoever has the lowest score with a gross hit wins.
The Majorcan, who won 22 Grand Slam titles and did not play in the semifinals of the last Wimbledon Open against Greek Nick Kyrgios due to an abdominal injury, is the golfer with the best individual score (37 strokes), along with Marc Salvà.
In Handicap classification mode, the Rafa Nadal Academy team finished in tenth place with 108 strokes.
Nadal, a great golf fan and with a disability similar to that of a professional golfer, enjoyed a few days vacation in Ibiza and Mallorca.
He plans to return to the tennis courts at the Canadian Masters 1,000 to be held between Aug. 7 and 14 in Montreal.
Next week, from Wednesday 20th to Friday 22nd July, he will participate in the individual Balearic championship for golf professionals in Alcanada (Alcudia)according to the list of registered players.
