Inter defeated Novara (Serie D) this Thursday (8-1) in a training match. The friendly featured Lautaro Martínez, who scored twice, while Romelu Lukaku scored his first pre-season goal since his return to the Milanese club on loan from Chelsea was made official.
In the first half, Nicolò Barella opened the scoring, while Edin Dzeko and the recently joined Raoul Bellanova made it 0-3 heading into the break.
In the second half Lautaro Martínez made it 0-4, Lukaku scored the fifth and the Argentine, again, young Mattia Zanotti and Simone Ciancio’s own goal completed the 8-1.
This is the third friendly for Inter, who debuted by defeating Lugano (1-4) and drew on Saturday against Monaco (2-2).
