american legend Allyson Felixwho thought he competed in his final international race last week in the 4x400m mixed relay, is in women’s 4×400 m relay series at the World Championships in Eugene this Saturday, as confirmed by his team.
At the age of 36, Felix said goodbye on Friday when he won gold in the mixed 4x400m in the opening World Cup played at home, a 19th world medal, a record. But Felix will have a chance to take his cap to 20 medals although he did not compete in the final scheduled for Sunday at the end of the championships: the athletes ranked in the heats are also medalists in the same way as the champions in the final.
Felix was a gold medalist in the women’s 4x400m last summer at the Tokyo Olympics, when the United States included her on an all-star team with Sydney McLaughlin, Dalilah Muhammad and Athing Mu.
