Collegiate women with rosettes are also present, in addition to two new ones in the category: Javier Iglesias Villanueva and Juan Luis Pulido Santana. On the part of the body VAR they have arrived Iglesias Villanueva, Gonzalez Gonzalez and the newly incorporated Jaime Latre.
On this Tuesday morning, the referees summoned in this second batch will begin to arrive. These are the remaining eight that do not currently enjoy international status: Díaz de Mera, Alberola Rojas, Figueroa Vázquez, González Fuertes, Melero López, Muñiz Ruiz, Ortiz Arias and Valentin Pizarro.
In addition, two former Catalan referees were mentioned within the specific VAR body: David Medie Jimenez and Estrada Fernandez.
All of them, as was the case with the first group they will be with this morning, will have an intense day of physical and technical work. Especially two moments. On the one hand, the physical tests that must be passed to start whistling on August 12. Tests that include various theoretical tests in VAR, Game Rules to be passed with 70% success rate. And then there is a seminar where they will be given guidelines for the next season and where the CTA: more field referees, less VAR, hands and clear penalties; strictly in extra time.
This second group, unlike the first, does not have to work so hard in their work in the VAR room. Except in exceptional circumstances, this task will be carried out by five referees of the particular body of VAR in addition to the international referees who left the concentration of Segovia today.
