The cultural week held in The Guijar (Segovia), during the celebration of San Roque there was a very red and white exhibition. The one arranged by a neighbor, Juan Carloswho wants to make his specific Atlético de Madrid collection available to everyone.
Objects of all kinds (tickets, scarves, badges or banners) with enormous sentimental value that the mattress lover has been collecting since he was little. There are even some inherited from his parents, who are now deceased, that Juan Carlos wants to present in this exhibition.
The mythical banner that has been worn so many times on the sidelines of the Vicente Calderón cannot go away. (and now in the Metropolitan) and nod to the Double, the 2014 League or the Champions League finals, without forgetting the time in the Second Division, which is also part of the club’s history. “To not forget where we came from,” said Juan Carlos, known in Atletico circles as ‘Guijar’.
