The Real Mallorca squad announced on Thursday the identity of the five players who will act as captains in the 2022-2023 League and Copa del Rey. They are Antonio Raíllo, Dani Rodríguez, Martin Valjent, Abdón Prats and Jaume Costa.
For the first time, Antonio Raíllo will act as the first captain. After two seasons as the second flag bearer, the Cordovan defender will become the first captain, in his seventh year at the Majorcan club. For his part, Dani Rodríguez will go from fourth to second captain. The midfielder from Betanzos will reach his fifth defensive campaign in the vermilion shirt. Defender Martin Valjent will also move up two levels, from fifth to third captain. The Slovakian will face his fifth season with Real Mallorca and his second on the list of captains.
The new additions to wearing the bracelet are Abdón Prats, who will take fourth place, and Jaume Costa, who is in fifth place.
