The perfect first day eleven

Date:

On the first day of the national league championship, goalkeepers shone as seemingly incomparable as Dimitrievski at the Camp Nou; goalscoring defenders like Alaba and Lucas; stellar appearances like that of young Kaiky and successful returns like Baena at Villarreal and Morata at Atlético. These are the eleven football players selected:

Dimitrievski (Ray Vallecano)

He sealed his goal to frustrate Lewandowski’s official debut at the Camp Nou and in the process dampened Barça’s euphoria with a goalless draw.

Lucas Vazquez (Real Madrid)

The youth squad paved the way for Madrid’s return to Almería with a forward goal taking advantage of a rebound in the rival box.

Kaiky (Almeria)

At the age of 18, he put on a real display supporting Almería’s defense in a siege by Real Madrid. As if that wasn’t enough, he drained an erratic Benzema.

Catena (Rayo Vallecano)

He had to dance with the ugliest (Lewandowski) and not only canceled him but increased his place to abort all risks. He took a ball under the sticks which meant Rayo lost.

Praise (Real Madrid)

He scored a great free-kick with the first ball he touched off the bench.

Joao Felix (Atletico Madrid)

The Portuguese is sweet and he showed it by signing three goal assists for Atlético in Getafe, where he showed all his quality to lead his team’s attacks.

William Carvalho

A fantastic delivery was produced for Juanmi’s first goal and he roamed freely in Villamarín, taking advantage of Elche’s inferiority complex.

Aymar Oroz

He made his debut as a starter with Osasuna signing in an exhibition against Sevilla. He didn’t miss a pass, was unmarked between the lines and scored the winning goal from the penalty spot.

Juanmi (Betis)

He scored an excellent double and did what he wanted with Elche’s decimated rearguard.

Morata (Athletic)

He returned to the Liga in a big way with a double against Getafe that reaffirmed the good feelings shown during the preseason.

Alex Baena (Villarreal)

He scored two great goals on his return to Villarreal. He came off the bench and Valladolid didn’t know how to stop him.
