Chelsea want to double the length of Tuchel’s contract

Todd Boehley want to give Chelsea of stability and therefore with the idea of ​​signing a long-term contract with Thomas Tuchel. The German coach has two years left on his contract, but according to the English press the new owner began talks to try to double that duration.

With this move, Boehly transferred his trust to Tuchel, the main man in Chelsea’s last game after his scuffle with Antonio Conte.

German arrives at the end of January 2021 and in his first months in charge of the Stamford Bridge bench, he led the team to its second Champions League.

That led him to extend for three more seasons, until 2024, but the plans of the new management leadership will grow further and they want to sign a bond until 2026.
