Ford offers free driver training for young drivers

The registration period for the VIII edition of ‘Ford, Drive your life’, the completely free hands-on road safety awareness program aimed at young drivers between the ages of 18 and 24, is now open. This year the program offers
240 new places in Alcobendas (Madrid) thanks to the collaboration with the municipality.

The courses will be held between October 22 and 23 at the Parque Andalucía Fairgrounds, and registration is now open via the following link, where you can select the date and time you want to participate: https://www.conducetuvida .es/ training/calendar-of-courses.

The only requirements are to be between 18 and 24 years old at the time of taking the course and to have a valid driving license in Spain. Places are filled on a first come, first served basis and are limited. When a group is completed, interested persons can join the waiting list, to gain access in case there are places available before the courses are held; or in one of the available courses.

The aim of the program is that the participants can learn to face and correct the main risk situations, which are also the cause of the highest number of accidents among drivers of this age group. The courses are divided into five modules that allow you to experience and become aware of the risks of distracted driving or the importance of speed and space management.

The exercises will enable participants to learn how to respond to an oversteer situation, emergency braking techniques, or detect and avoid potential hazards on the road. The content also includes theoretical training on new driver assistance technologies. Program participants get behind the wheel of Ford models such as: Fiesta, Puma, Puma ST, Kuga, Galaxy, Mach-E, Mach-E GT or Ranger Raptor.
