The newly designed, optionally available LED headlights, the sporty bumper and the radiator grille give the new B-Class a dynamic boost thanks to their smooth transition to a visually compact front end. The Sports Tourer demonstrates its sporty appearance, among other things, thanks to recessed wheels on the outside with four additional designs in sizes up to 19-inch, including optional black-painted multi-spoke light-alloy wheels with raised wheels. for the AMG line. The rear view also radiates dynamism and power: the new two-piece taillights now feature LED technology as standard and accentuate the feeling of space in the rear. They are supported by aerodynamic spoilers attached to the side of the rear window, which improves aerodynamics. The new B-Class is available in ten different finishes in solid/metallic or special paint.

The range of petrol engines in the new B-Class has been adapted and electrified accordingly. With an additional 48-volt on-board power supply and a power increase of 10 kW, the starting functions are the favourite.

The new B-Class plug-in hybrids benefit from an improved high-voltage battery. The charging process has also been optimized: in addition to the standard 3.7 kW, the improved battery can now also be charged with alternating current and up to 11 kW, instead of just 7.4 kW as before.
