The latter includes the renewal of vertical and horizontal signals (urban and interurban) which,
after 18 years in force they needed updating towards the new mobility; and new ones are also emerging regarding new forms of mobility, such as electric scooters for example.

According to the Royal Decree amending the General Issuance Regulations, another concept, e.g.
signal has been updated STOP, that of pedestrian crossings, that of danger signals through fog, as well as that of the proximity of a school zone, among others.

And the one called R-118, the purpose of which is to indicate the prohibition of entry of electric scooters to a certain area,
will be one of the new characters. In addition, the P-35 indicates the proximity of a twisted section where vehicles will share the same space at a junction with an entry and exit lane. The signals S-1b and S-2b indicating the presence of a multilane route are also included.

For its part, all the elements of the end of the prohibition signs become black instead of gray, for better rendering on a white background.

P‐35. Danger due to the proximity of a section between a confluence and a junction where different lane changes are produced by vehicles crossing their paths and thereby increasing the risk of collision.

P‐24a. Danger from the proximity of a place where the road can often be crossed freely by animals, a very significant proportion of which are wild boars.

P-33. Danger due to proximity to a section where flow is often impeded by significant loss of visibility due to fog, rain, snow, smoke, etc.

S‐1c. Indicates the beginning of a 2+1 road, ie a road with three lanes and traffic in both directions. The central lane is intended to facilitate overtaking maneuvers and is alternately reserved for both directions of travel. This sign can also indicate the branch of an intersection leading to a 2+1 road.

R-422. Obligation for bicycle users to continue on foot. If such an obligation is limited to certain periods, this will be indicated by means of an additional panel.

Likewise, there will be many signals that are no longer active. For example, signs R-308a, R-308b and R-309 that indicate the parking ban on odd, even and limited use days.

And the new additions will be installed in the proper and necessary places for your information.
