Part of the platform of the Meteor model to achieve greater lightness, making it agile, comfortable and fun

Royal Enfield completely renews its classic roadster. We’re talking about the Hunter, now called the HNTR 350, coming off the assembly line with continuous production from the oldest brand in the world.

Royal Enfield’s new HNTR 350 has been conceived and created by designers and engineers at Royal Enfield’s two state-of-the-art technology centers in India and the UK, as well as renowned chassis experts Harris Performance. Part of the platform from the Meteor model to get a much lighter motorcycle and such
consistently more agile, comfortable and fun. Thanks to the changes made, it now has a really excellent turning radius and is ideal for both city traffic and low-speed movements. Inspired by the 1959 Fury model, a memory that can be seen in the fuel tank or rear fender, the HNTR 350 is also notable for the changes made to the engine.

In this 349 cc. of displacement, with air and oil cooling, it offers a final power of 20.2 hp and for this the electronics have been optimized to achieve better performance, lower consumption and power delivery from far below. The gearbox is simple, five gears, but these are very well thought out to squeeze the available power perfectly.

The new wheels go from the 19-inch diameter that the Meteor had to 17, improving overall handling.

The also completely new seat is in one piece and has a ground clearance of 790 millimetres. This is comfortable thanks to the padding inside and depending on the version, two different ones will be marketed from the first month, and there are several elements of this type to increase walking comfort.

Braking is solved with single discs on both axles with the dual-channel ABS anti-lock braking system, while the aluminum alloy wheels have a diameter of 17 inches, matching the dimensions of the tires with 110/70 on the front axle and 140/70 on the rear wheel. Depending on the version, it comes with a center stand and rear light with LED technology.

The instrument panel is instructed to provide information that alternates between analog and digital. Through a hefty round clock, in the center, a digital screen similarly informs us of everything necessary for a mechanics check, including the gear we have placed or a partial odometer, warning of lack of fuel. Next to the instrument panel there is also a USB socket that allows you to charge the phone on the go.

The two versions that go on sale are called Urbana and Suburbana, the latter more extensive with protective covers or a side case and LED indicators. Both offer perfectly acceptable overall handling for both urban and out-of-town driving.

The price at which this model is marketed is 4,389 euros for the basic version and 100 euros more for the two-tone decorations, including a three-year warranty and free roadside assistance in the same period for all of Europe .

Also worth noting is the choice of three optional tank colors and graphics on one version, and another with premium finishes on the most distinctive and disruptive fuel tank designs ever to grace a Royal Enfield. It is also compatible with Royal Enfield’s renowned Tripper TBT navigation system, which will be available as a genuine motorcycle accessory.
