Škoda presents in Spain the most emotional and respectful variant, the Enyaq Coupé iV

In Madrid, Škoda gave the dynamic presentation of the Enyaq Coupé iV, the second variant of the Czech brand’s 100% electric SUV, which complements the successful Enyaq iV and expands the model range based on the modular electric propulsion platform (MEB). ) from the Volkswagen Group, in this case with an even more emotional design.

The Enyaq Coupé RS iV also debuted as the first all-electric model in the brand’s sporty RS family. With a roofline sloping slightly backwards from the B-pillar, the new coupé offers plenty of space in the rear and a luggage compartment of 570 litres. As with the Enyaq iV, traditional interior trim levels have been replaced by design choices.

The coupé-style electric SUV is available from launch with four drive variants and two battery sizes, with power ratings ranging from 132 kW (180 hp) to 220 kW (300 hp), the most powerful corresponding to the RS version.

Two of the variants (60 and 80) are rear-engined and thus have rear-wheel drive, while the other two variants (80X and RS) have two electric motors and four-wheel drive. The excellent aerodynamics, with a drag coefficient (cd) of 0.23, also contribute to the high efficiency, allowing a range of up to 553 km in the WLTP cycle.

The new model is even more dynamic and sporty than the Enyaq iV SUV variant. From the B-pillar, the roofline gradually flows into the impressive, sharp rear. The top-of-the-range Enyaq Coupé RS iV features black design cues and the RS signature red reflective stripe at the rear. This variant also comes standard with the ‘Crystal face’, which illuminates the striking Škoda grille with 131 LED lights. For the Enyaq Coupé iV, you can choose between two standard colors and seven metallic paint options. Mentalized Phoenix Orange and Graphite Gray paint, which has replaced Škoda’s Quartz Gray metallic, make their debut on the Enyaq iV. The eye-catching Mamba Green finish is exclusive to the Enyaq Coupé RS iV.

Thanks to the latest ME3 software, all batteries in the Enyaq Coupé iV have a fast charging capacity of up to 120 kW for the Enyaq Coupé iV 60 and up to 135 kW for all-wheel drive models. This means that the Enyaq Coupé iV 80’s 82 kWh battery can be charged from 10 to 80% in just 29 minutes. Using a Škoda iV Charger wallbox of up to 11 kW, the car can easily be charged overnight at home in six to eight hours (depending on battery size).
