Orders are already being taken for the T-Class, the new compact minivan from Mercedes-Benz

The T-Class combines multifunctionality and plenty of space with a high level of equipment: from the standard MBUX infotainment system and the electric parking brake to the optional 17-inch light-alloy wheels, the Keyless Go system or the ambient lighting, seat back padding in artificial leather Artico/Microcut and different trim parts, the new T-Class offers a wide range of features that stand out in the segment. In addition, it also has a
comprehensive safety equipment as standardwith seven airbags and numerous driver assistance systems, making it a modern and reliable companion for families and anyone who enjoys leisure activities.

The new T-Class is instantly recognizable as a member of the Mercedes‑Benz family. The design is characterized by balanced proportions and a conception of the sensory surface with reduced lines. The chrome radiator grille and body-coloured exterior mirror caps, door handles and front bumper add an exclusive character as standard.

The compact minivan combines smaller exterior dimensions with
a lot of space The five-seat T-Class is 4,498 millimeters long, 1,859 millimeters wide and 1,811 millimeters high. But a long wheelbase variant is also available and
up to seven seats

Further advantages of the T-Class that make everyday life for families and leisure enthusiasts easier and more comfortable: The loading sill of just 561 millimeters makes loading heavy objects easier. Wide opening sliding doors on both sides of the vehicle allow easy access to the rear. This allows children to get on and off quickly and safely in narrow streets and parking lots.

Safety is taken care of down to the last detail: iSize-compliant child seat anchorages with ISOFIX child seat attachment and Top Tether are located on the outer rear seats and on the front passenger seat. An automatic child seat recognition system has been installed to deactivate the front passenger airbag for safety reasons when short people are traveling as co-drivers.

The T-Class features the MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system as standard. Strong points are the adaptive software, the high-resolution display, the integration of Apple Car Play and Android Auto in the smartphone, the hands-free system via Bluetooth connection and the digital radio (DAB and DAB+). Also very innovative is the intuitive operating concept via the 7-inch touchscreen, the Touch Control buttons on the steering wheel or, in combination with the optional navigation package, via the ‘Hey Mercedes’ voice assistant. The assistant also understands the colloquial language. The user no longer has to learn predetermined formulas.

At the time of the market launch with a price from 27,654 euros, next June, although orders can already be placed, they offer
a diesel and a petrol engine with two power levels each. In addition to the six-speed manual transmission, a seven-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT) is optionally available for both diesel models and the powerful petrol engine.
