This new feature is still under development. While the portal is repeating its tests in the Android beta, it is expected to reach the iOS and desktop betas as well.

WhatsApp is also testing another feature: replies to messages in different skin tones. According to WABetaInfo, this feature is already rolling out to users of Android beta version 2.22.13.4.

This feature allows users to change the skin color of their reactions based on the last tone used in their emoji list. At the moment it is limited to the thumbs up and two hands emote.
