Juan José Benítez publishes ‘En Blanca y negro’, a book that collects the wonderful experience of the last days before the death of his wife
Juan José Benítez (Pamplona, 46) has returned to investigate, continues his iron discipline of writing daily, travels with his field notebook and examines all the testimonials that come to him about the UFO phenomenon. Everything would be the same, but it isn’t. Since last year, Blanca, the woman who helped him “cross the street of life” for 40 years, has been missing from his life. His latest book ‘In White and Black’ (Planeta) is dedicated to her, a personal and intimate diary of the last 280 days of the life of his wife, who died of cancer last year.
“It was such a traumatic experience that when it was over I thought it might be helpful to tell about it for people who might be going through the same thing,” he explains. And that is why the journalist and researcher makes a diary of his new book, in which he and Blanca reminisce about the good times before the fatal moment. There are many adventures that the couple has had all over the planet looking for cases, stories, testimonials or experiences of anything related to UFO issues or unexplained phenomena. Together with Blanca, this writer shaped the successful Trojan Horse saga, in which he “meets” the Blue Father, as he explains, one of the creator gods of the universe, and Jesus of Nazareth, the “boss”.
According to the researcher, when his wife was suffering from the tremendous pain of cancer, his wife even asked the “boss” to help Blanca overcome the disease. «I felt let down at the time (by the ‘boss’), I didn’t understand anything. I begged her on my knees and gave her my life in exchange for hers, but there was only silence. I half understood. I know that everyone has their ‘contract’ (an agreement that Benítez explains in Trojan Horse, which they sign before they are born, accepting how everyone’s life on Earth will be) and if it’s true, you have to fulfill.” Now assures Benítez that he knows that Blanca “lives, in a different place, in a different place and that he is well.”
Not a fan of “computers” and a fan of the traditional Olivetti machines, JJ Benítez remembers what he felt when he started writing “In Black and White.” “I was in a terrible situation. Day after day I had to remember what happened and that made me go back a lot. But it was also a kind of therapy that brought back all the memories,” he says. “I’m still not over it, I’m 16 months now and I’ve made some progress. I need time to reorganize myself,” explains de Navarrese journalist, who claims to already have thirty books pending publication.
