BMW Motorrad presents the M 1000 RR on the occasion of the model’s 50th anniversary
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of BMW M GmbH, founded in 1972 as BMW Motorsport GmbH, BMW Motorrad presents the M 1000 RR 50th Anniversary M model in ‘Amarillo Sao Paulo’ finish and with the historic BMW M 50th Anniversary emblem. this anniversary model lives up to the M philosophy and racing spirit of nearly 100 years of BMW Motorrad motorcycle production and 50 years of BMW M vehicles.
That is why the M RR 50 Aniversario M is equipped with the M Competition package as standard. In addition to the expanded M Milled Parts Package and the exclusive M Carbon Package, a lighter anodized aluminum swingarm and the unlock code for the M GPS lap trigger and the M Endurance chain, the passenger and passenger seat trim.
BMW Motorrad already launched the successful BMW M Car Range strategy for motorcycles at the end of 2018 and has been offering special equipment and M and M Performance parts ever since.
The BMW M 1000 RR – simply called M RR – finally celebrated its world premiere in September 2020 as BMW Motorrad’s first M model based on the S 1000 RR.
As in the past, BMW Motorrad follows the philosophy of the world’s strongest letter: M stands for racing success and fascination with BMW high-performance models around the world, and is aimed at customers with particularly high performance requirements , exclusivity and individuality. Last but not least, the BMW M RR has also been the base engine of the BMW Motorrad World SBK Team since 2021, as well as of many other racing teams around the world.
The M RR 50th Anniversary M model carries this historic motorsport DNA like no other BMW motorcycle to date. This exceptional motorcycle can only be ordered until November 30, 2022.
