Characterized by unparalleled comfort and electrified engines up to 360 hp, the new DS 7 uses materials intended to provide unprecedented refinement and well-being in the segment.
Introduced in 2017, the DS 7 Crossback was the first 100% DS Automobiles creation and exuded a new avant-garde spirit. Widely acclaimed for its incomparable interior, exceptional refinement and advanced technologies, the DS 7 Crossback paved the way for the new developments now embodied by the new DS 7.
The character of the new DS 7 is marked by significant changes, both at the front and at the rear. Always elegant, the new DS 7 has more dynamism thanks to sharper and more structured lines.
The all-new front stands out for its sharper lines, which develop the balance of each element. Thanks to the close collaboration between the teams of DS Design Studio Paris and the production teams of the factory in Mulhouse (France), a very special job has been done to achieve exceptional results in terms of quality and robustness.
The light signature evolves with an even more expressive look. The combination of new slim DS Pixel LED Vision 3.0 headlights and DS Light Veil daytime running lights is fluid and in the spirit of haute couture.
The DS Wings and grille have been widened and the skirt has been redesigned in a version specific color.
The rims contribute to the specific character of the side view of the new model. The new 19-inch Edinburgh and Silverstone versions improve aerodynamic efficiency, while their design treatment increases their perceived diameter. New Brooklym 21-inch wheels, with a chiseled engineering design, are only available on the new DS 7 E-Tense 4×4 360.
DS Automobiles, the multi-energy brand with the lowest CO2 emissions in Europe in the past two years and multiple Formula E titles, offers the new DS 7 with different engine types, including a range of three plug-in hybrids with 225, 300 and 360 hp.
The new DS 7 E-Tense 225 has a PureTech 180 petrol engine and a 110 hp electric motor integrated into the eight-speed automatic transmission with two-wheel drive.
The new DS 7 E-Tense 4×4 300 and new DS 7 E-Tense 4×4 360 have a 4×4 transmission with a PureTech 200 engine, as well as a 110 and 112 hp electric motor coupled to each of the axles. The 360 version will receive specific adjustments made by DS Performance.
A new 14.2 kWh battery enables up to 65 kilometers emission-free in the WLTP mixed cycle, and even up to 81 kilometers in the urban cycle. Charging time is approximately two hours on a 7.4 kW terminal.
