The novelties of the Toyota crossover in segment A influence the equipment and the color palette
To live up to its promise to periodically renew the offering of its most urban and youthful model, Toyota is updating the Aygo X Cross range, with two
new finishes, Like and Chicwhich replace the previous Trendy Edition and Limited Edition respectively.
Toyota’s new city crossover, unique in the A-segment, with
prices thatthey start at 14,400 eurosmaintains the same structure of three finishes by keeping the existing Play, the most balanced finish in the range in relation to price equipment, with standard elements such as 17-inch alloy wheels, projector-like halogen headlights, daytime running lights and LED pilots, fog lamps, leather steering wheel, electric adjustable mirrors, automatic headlights and front electric windows, among many others.
The new Like finish replaces the special Trendy Edition and, like its predecessor, aims to become the center of gravity of the Aygo X Cross range and marks the beginning of a more extroverted and distinctive style. A finish that will attract all eyes. And the Like trim comes standard with an exterior customization package not available on the Trendy Edition, including 18-inch wheels in matte black with color detailing, as well as vinyl on the front and rear bumpers and side moldings.
In the case of equipping the exterior color Chili Red, the customization package color will be Chili Red, while in the case of Jungle Green, the tone of the customization package will be Latte Beige.
Inside, the color scheme has been updated and the design of the fabric upholstery changes. In terms of equipment, this new edition shares elements already included in the range in the variant it replaces, such as 18-inch wheels, Full LED headlights, 8-inch multimedia screen, darkened rear windows, rain sensor and heated electric mirrors .
As in the Trendy Edition, the Like finish has two optional packs. The Connect Pack includes the 9-inch Toyota Smart Connect multimedia system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless connectivity and wireless charger. The Connect + JBL Pack contains, in addition to the contents of the Connect Pack, the JBL premium sound system with four speakers + subwoofer.
Another of the main novelties of the Like finish is that the canvas roof -Sky Pack- will be available as an option in all its variants. Thus, the update of the Toyota Aygo X Cross range offers the possibility of mounting the canvas roof “Sky” in all finishes except Play.
For its part, the new Chic finish, which will replace the Limited Edition and become the top of the range for Aygo X Cross 2022, is only available in Beige Latte. The 18-inch wheels are two-tone and do not have an exterior customization package, as the Limited Edition did.
In the passenger compartment, the Chic trim inherits the partial leather trim that was standard on the Trendy Edition trim, in this case with Latte Beige stitching. The Chic trim maintains a highly competitive standard trim level that includes a 9-inch Toyota Smart Connect multimedia system, wireless charger and front and rear parking sensors.
On the outside, in the renewed range of Aygo X Cross, the Florida Blue color disappears and the color Jungle Green is incorporated, which until now was only available in the Limited Edition finish.
