Agility in aluminum and steel, the new MG4 Electric will hit the European market in autumn 2022. Thanks to its distinctive and sporty design, it is already attracting attention. The attraction of this
C-segment electric car It starts with a striking hood with razor-sharp LED headlights, a multi-layer tailgate and a two-tone roof with sophisticated aerodynamics. The MG4 Electric will be the first MG model based on the new MSP (Modular Scalable Platform). The electric hatchback boasts a modern look.

The MG4 Electric
makes an immediate impression thanks to its characteristic bonnet. In addition to the striking headlamps, the sloping vertical turn signals create a lively look that is part of the dynamic lines installed above the front splitter. The daytime running lights, with no less than 28 LEDs that form six vertical fiberglass stripes, provide a distinctive design at the front. The high and low beam integrated in three reflective edges on each side, combined with the LED lighting with rotating function, guarantee a perfect design for an electric car.

The lines flow backwards on several levels through the corresponding light edges. A double-wing rear spoiler completes the two-tone roof and refined aerodynamics, while visually extending the car’s line and improving airflow to the rear. The complex LED taillights are a continuation of the sculpted sidelines. With them
172 LEDs, culminating in the rear of the MG4 Electric.

The MG4 Electric offers a simple and user-friendly interior with a pleasant technological atmosphere. The driving position has been designed to maximize the available space with slim and light instrument panels and controls, using quality materials with a careful finish which in turn maximizes the fundamental principles of the MG4 Electric: simplicity, technology and quality. The floating design of the center console creates more space and integrates useful functions such as storage space for smartphones. The four-way adjustable double-spoke steering wheel with control buttons in a minimalist design also follows this principle.

The pre-production MG4 Electric already on display uses striking orange colours, while its black and white camouflaged brother is currently completing 120,000 kilometers of final testing across Europe. The MG4 Electric will add a splash of color to the electric car market with its European market launch this fall. The MG4 Electric will be market-ready in the following color combinations: Pebble Black, Dover White, Medal Silver, Andean Grey, Diamond Red, Brighton Blue and Fizzy Orange.

The MG4 Electric is MG Motor’s most advanced vehicle to date. The battery makes it possible
travel up to 450 kilometers of autonomy (WLTP) and its thickness of 110 millimeters makes it the thinnest on the market. With rear-wheel drive and a 50:50 weight distribution, MG Motor has also developed a car with particularly agile driving dynamics. With an advanced driving assistance system (MG Pilot system) and the “Zero Thermal Runaway” safety concept, passenger safety is paramount. Also, comfort is not neglected with elements such as the advanced standard connectivity solutions. The basis of all this is the new MSP platform, with the MG4 Electric being the first MG model to be based on it.
