On the sports field in Patergassen (Carinthia), a racing driver lost control of the wheel during an auto slalom event on Saturday afternoon. The car crashed in the middle of the spectators: a child was among the ten people, some of whom were seriously injured.

Ten injured, including a child

The seriously injured were taken to hospital by the rescue helicopter and the event has been cancelled. Numerous forces from the fire brigade, the Red Cross, the Johanniter, but also doctors and the crisis intervention team are on site. The driver of the 380 hp Toyota was uninjured in the accident.
