Many unanswered questions after a traffic accident in Aigen/Ennstal: An 82-year-old Steiermarker was apparently involved in a two-car collision with his e-bike and died on the spot.
The 82-year-old was on his e-bike on the R7 cycle path around 2 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon. In Aigen he apparently wanted to cross the L 742 towards Döllach. There may have been a collision with a 17-year-old motorist driving on the state highway in the direction of Aigen and a 44-year-old motorist driving in the opposite direction to Wörschach.
The emergency doctor called could only determine the death of the man. The two motorists were also injured and were transferred to the LKH Rottenmann. The police have not yet been able to question the two women (both also from the Ennstal), so that precise information about the course of the accident is not yet known. The investigation is underway.
