Dugina attack – Russian secret service reveals suspected killer

Date:

While the Kiev leadership denies any responsibility for the murder of the Russian war propagandist and daughter of the ultra-nationalist ideologue Alexander Dugin, and a hitherto unknown Russian partisan group has already claimed responsibility for the murder, Russia’s domestic secret service FSB is increasingly providing “proof” of the authorship of the Ukrainian secret service. Video recordings of the alleged 42-year-old Ukrainian murderer and her daughter have also been published.

Several edited shots in the clip, which lasts about two minutes, are intended to show the Ukrainian arriving in Russia, entering the home of her alleged victim Darya Dugina and then leaving the country after the crime. Dugina died Sunday evening when her car exploded in a Moscow suburb.

‘After deed left for Estonia’
The FSB stated that the assassination attempt on Dugina was planned by Ukrainian secret services. According to the FSB, the perpetrator is a woman from Ukraine, born in 1979. She traveled to Russia with her 11- or 12-year-old daughter at the end of July and left for Estonia immediately after the crime. Russian opposition figures doubted the secret service’s representation.

Kiev denied involvement in the death of 29-year-old Dugina last weekend. On Monday, Ukrainian presidential adviser Mykhailo Podoliak (see video below) reiterated: “Russian propaganda creates a fictional world: a Ukrainian woman and her 12-year-old child are ‘fixed’ as the perpetrators of blowing up propagandist Dugina’s car.” Ukraine’s Azov battalion has denied allegations that the suspect presented by the FSB was in any way related to the unit.

Dugin to Army: “Victory please!”
The father of the dead, Alexander Dugin, meanwhile, called on the Russians to fight in the spirit of his right-wing nationalist and imperialist ideology. “Our hearts thirst not only for revenge or revenge. That would be too small, not Russian,” Dugin told Telegram about his confidant, the oligarch Konstantin Malofeev. “We just need our victory. My daughter laid her girlish life on his altar. So please win!”

Russian President Vladimir Putin has offered his condolences to the family of the 29-year-old who died. In a telegram to her father on Monday, the Kremlin head wrote: “An ugly, brutal crime has destroyed the life of Darya Dugina, a brilliant, talented person with a real Russian heart, good, loving, helpful and open.”
