A Styrian (42) was reported missing on Sunday evening after a tent party. Today, Wednesday, he was found dead in a tributary of the Mur in Wildon, police confirm.
Messages and photos of the man circulated on social media on Tuesday evening as people searched for him. Before that, the emergency services had been looking for the 42-year-old from Wildon since Sunday with drones and a large contingent.

How did the man die? “It is unclear to date,” said a spokeswoman for the Styrian state police. The only thing that is clear is that he wanted to go home from a fire brigade party on Sunday night. He never arrived. On Wednesday morning, an employee found him in a reservoir of a tributary of the Mur.
So far, there is no evidence of third party culpability. The competent prosecutor ordered an autopsy.
