Counselor Idoia Mendia explained that CAV’s job center is going through a transformation process, hand-in-hand with Lanbide’s social agents and workers with the goal of “being more effective and efficient”.
Lanbide has included “the experience” of the recipients of the RGI with the aim of “being more efficient and making progress” in “investing in social cohesion”, as championed by Idoia Mendia, Deputy Lehendakari and Minister of Labor and Employment of the Basque Government.
The minister explained that the CAV job center is going through a transformation process, hand-in-hand with Lanbide’s social agents and workers with the aim of “being more effective and efficient”, on which “the gaze and essential voice of the users of the system”.
The Basque law on the income system is currently being processed, but the Basque government did not want to delay including “the right of the user to understand what the system asks of them and to make themselves understood by the system”, because these people “have so much to contribute so that we can be more decisive,” said the minister.
In the transformation of this system, “every perspective, especially from the third sector” has been integrated, which has made it possible to have “an ambitious text to achieve our goal: to improve care for those who need it most, their right to provide an income more effectively to minors and retirees and to be more efficient in the integration processes”.
