Within seven hours, there were two fatal motorcycle accidents in Upper Austria. First at 12 noon in Berg im Attergau and just after 7 pm in Weyer.

The 33-year-old from the Linz-Land district drove a motorcycle on the B115 from Altenmarkt to Weyer on Tuesday around 7 p.m. His 29-year-old girlfriend from Linz was in the passenger seat. In the Kleinreifling district of the municipality of Weyer, the driver left the road on the right for unknown reasons and ran into a sign posted there and against a wall.

Died at the scene of the accident
The 33-year-old came to a stop under the motorcycle. Despite attempts at CPR, he died at the scene of the accident. The passenger was thrown from the motorcycle and was left lying on the side of the road with serious injuries. She was taken by rescue helicopter to the Pyhrn-Eisenwurzen clinic in Steyr.
