The American space agency NASA and the private company Axiom Space have agreed to once again send several private individuals to the International Space Station. “Axiom Mission 2” (Ax-2) is scheduled for the second quarter of 2023, NASA announced.
In April, as part of the “Ax-1” mission, a purely private crew of four men (pictured below) flew to the space outpost for about a week for the first time. This time four people will fly again, it was said.
The trip is once again organized by Axiom Space, NASA and SpaceX, a company owned by billionaire Elon Musk. In addition to scientific tests, the mission also aims to explore the future potential for space tourism.
