The father was knocked unconscious from behind and the infant son died shortly afterwards in the flooding of the Kitzbüheler Ache in St. Johann, Tyrol. The dramatic incident that happened Sunday morning still haunts police detectives. The search for the stranger who attacked the 37-year-old on his morning walk is still ongoing, but so far there has been no conclusive clue. The parents of Leon, who is only six years old, ask the population for help.
The six-year-old’s father was unable to say anything more about the appearance of the perpetrator, who attacked and knocked down the 37-year-old with a bottle around 4 am on Sunday morning. As reported, he lost consciousness after the blow, Leon was in the buggy at the time.
No indication of violence
The six-year-old would probably have crawled out of the pram, gone to the Ache and fell in. As the autopsy later confirmed, the boy drowned. No evidence of violence was found.
A passerby should eventually find the unconscious father around 5:20 a.m. and sound the alarm. A search for the missing child was launched – just an hour later, the six-year-old was found and rescued.
profession of the parents

“We are infinitely sad, devastated and stunned and PLEASE need your help again,” the parents said. “If any of you have any clues about the attacker, please contact the Tiroler Staatsrecherche on 059133/703333.”
“We miss your smile”
